    It all started when I noticed my dog was afraid of his water bowl.

    (And I was scratching my head.)

    When I tell you about my dog Boulder, a great big dog who was so afraid of water, he could hardly go near his own water bowl — you may think I’m joking. But this is a true story. And to make it even less believable, Boulder is a golden retriever. (You know, the ones that are supposed to love water?)

    Boulder was clearly suffering from anxiety. And the harder I looked for answers, the more I discovered, they didn’t exist. (And the more I met other pet parents who shared my frustration.)

    The good news for Boulder was, I’m an entrepreneur (and a stubborn one at that). I’ve spent most of my life in the pet industry. And so I said to myself, if there is no one out there who can help my dog, then I’m going to build a company that can. And with that silent promise, The Anxious Pet was born.

    I decided that if I was going to do this, I was going to do it right. So I gathered passionate pet industry experts who loved pets as much as I do — a team with over 60 years of experience in the pet industry. Experts in product development, educational & research, and a cutting edge veterinarian, who has used CBD to treat pet cancer patients over the past five years.
